This is my favorite and most intricate model to date. The box was huge with 5 plastic containers of various brass and wood parts. What a delight!

 

I saw a youtube where someone put balsawood inbetween the bulkheads.

Although it took a bit more time, this way I could directly glue the thick hardwood planks on and not use nails. (no double planking on this one).

So many tiny details! So many parts!

The (almost) final stage:

Each yard (dowel) has to be tapered and then fitted with many parts:

Each yard is finished below. Now to sew the sails on and finish the rest of the rigging.
