I'm fortunate to be presently at a great location. I can see the ocean from my workbench:

Now, isnt' the 2" chop saw just adorable! It's one of my favorite tools.

I need a dust mask, light, and magnifiers. Here is my second setup:

 

Here is a closeup of my magnifier. I took a Keku Hifh Power LED headlamp, took off the lithium battery pack at the back and sewed the elastic strap together.

Then I got a telephone cable which has 4 wires and hardwired it to the battery pack. This way I could eliminate charging the batteries and just plug it in.

 Then I hacked a magnifier and taped it to the front of the headlamp. I use this constantly and just love it!

 

 

Here is my chopper for thin planking strips. I modified it so that I could put a stop on the wood for long pieces. Very useful!

You always have to make jigs. This is a simple one for twisting the thread around a dead eye.
