One page of instructions. Guess that's why it's called an advanced model.

You have to know what to do from past experience:

After the frames are glued to the deck, the deck is planked:

Time to glue the sides. I planked the areas in white to give it an authentic look.

Painting over plywood would not look right. But a light white coat over planking looks much  better:

I planked the main cabin and painted white. The top shack was planked with walnut:

The sides are glued:

Soaking and bending thin plywood is not practical as you can see.

So I found a piece of plastic that would bend and shape well:

Getting ready for planking the hull:

Putting the 1st planking on:

The 1st planking is sanded and ready for the next:

The second planking is fitted along with the propeller and rudder:

Painting the black stripe and putting the railing on:

I put the railings on. I used thread instead of brass for the white railings as it looked straighter.

Made the holes in the bow for the anchors and put in the port hole windows.

Here is the anchor pully. Later I gave the chain a touch of brown paint to

make it look a little "rusty."

Next, the masts are crafted and installed:

I planked the little life boats with walnut and attached the fittings:

The cloth bumpers, nameplate and beacon lights installed:

Finished!
